The Girl Who Stole a Starship Cover Preview

Posted by Charles Gray on March 16, 2017

Well, one of my stories is almost finished, going through final edits (otherwise known as: am I over editing? I think I’m over editing. Wait a minute, that phrase sucks).  I’ve also started working on the cover since us poor folk can’t hire those fancy pants graphic artists with their Highfalutin ways. I’m gonna give it a few more brush ups, and show it off to other people, and see what else I can do with it.

Here it is:

The book itself should be out on kindle in the next two weeks, or possibly earlier if I don’t find anything that demands major changes.

Playing with Kittens!

Posted by Charles Gray on April 19, 2015

It’s always important to stay active and so I have.  My new book, largely based on something I whipped up for my god daughter, has just gone live. Kittens! allows an early reader to experience simple sentences along with pretty images of kittens and can be used as a short book for him or her to enjoy on a tablet or as part of an early reader’s education.

Kittens

It’s available either for purchase at .99 cents or via the KU borrowing program.

Getting close to the end.

Posted by Charles Gray on June 14, 2014

I’ve just hit 42K words on my latest story, “Racer’s Dream” (title may be changed). What this essentially means is that I’m getting close to finishing the rough draft.   There is, of course, much more to do after that and as any fiction writer will tell you, in many cases revisions amount to complete rewrites.   Nonetheless however, being able to say that “the rough draft is done” that the story you wanted to tell is now largely complete, is an important milestone for any writer.
